Tucson Is Now a Member City of International Pride Softball

Tucson Inferno Pride Softball is proud to announce that Tucson is now the 55th member city of International Pride Softball (iPride Softball). iPride Softball (formerly North American Gay Amateur Athletic Alliance) is a member-driven managing organization that coordinates the highest level of international competitive LGBTQ+ softball. There are more than 20,000 participating players in iPride Softball.

After a smashing presentation by Sheryl Phipps at the Las Vegas summer 2024 semiannual meeting, the delegates of the 54 member cities voted unanimously to add Tucson on October 13, 2024.

TIPS looks forward to sending a team to compete in the next Gay Softball World Series (GSWS) in Houston, TX from September 22-27, 2025 plus the GSWS in Columbus, OH in 2026.
