Week Six Results!

It was a nice day at Udall Park on Sunday. We had a Free Swag Giveaway raffle and now I’ve found more. Perhaps we should do it again, huh?

The Blazing Saddles beat the Sunset Sluggers 9 – 6 in a well fought game. The Cactus Wrens had the double-header beating the Cherry Bomb Pops 15 – 6 and then losing to the Senoritas 10 – 6. All the losing teams had 6 runs. And it’s the 6th week. Okay, let’s leave it at that.

The Saguaro Cup teams will be having a super scrimmage this Saturday at Todd Harris Field 3 from 2 – 5pm. Scrimmage will include ALL Saguaro Cup players, including Patrick and Asher and those playing on the Phoenix Sirens. That’s right folks!!! We gotta lot of folks playin’ in the Cup! I hear Laine will be coming down for this scrimmage too.

This Saturday scrimmage will have each team go through its batting line-up before switching. You will still have 3 outs though and will clear the bases if you haven’t gotten through the batting line-up.
